So you then rebid 2 Clubs. Your partner then replied 2 Diamonds, a "4th suit forcing" at the 2 level promising 10 HCP. What should you now bid ?
You know your partner has at least 10 points / 8 losers, since he used a 4th suit forcing bid at the 2-level. You also know that he has a 5-card Spade suit, having bid Spades first then Diamonds. So now it's time to show delayed support for his Spades, so that he will know that you have 3 of them. With a 5.5 loser hand, or 17 points including the singleton, you can go straight to game. Whatever you bid, you must NOT bid No Trumps. You only have one of them, and your partner's bid of diamonds was to say that he was weak in diamonds too.

K Q 8 7
You rebid 2 Clubs. Your partner then replied with 2 Spades, guaranteeing at least 4 Hearts and 4 Spades. What should you now bid ?
You should show delayed support for your partner's first-bid suit. You don't know if he had 4 or 5 Hearts. Since you have 3, give your partner a chance to show if he had 5. Your partner will realise that you have 3 of them; so with 5 he'll go for game in the the Major; with 4, in this situation, he'll go for 3NT.
