Your partner replies 5 Spades. How many key cards does he have ?
A reply of 5 Spades means "I have 2 key cards and the Queen of trumps". In this case you have 2, but you too have the Queen of trumps. So unless there are two Queen of diamonds in this pack of cards, don't laugh, your partner must be using a different system….. He probably means he has 3 Aces (Blackwood), or 3 Keycards. Now that would be good.

So you replied 5 Diamonds, to tell your partner that you have one keycard, the Ace of Spades. Your partner then bid 5 Spades. What should you now bid ?
The Spade bid meant "Do you have the Queen of trumps? reply in Trumps if you don't". Well, you DO have the Queen of trumps, so you shouldn't reply in Hearts. Replying in Diamonds means you also have the King of Diamonds, but not the King of Clubs. Pretty neat.

So you replied 5 Hearts, to tell your partner that you have two keycards (the Ace of Spades + King of Trumps) and that you don't have the Queen of trumps. Your partner then bid 5NT. What should you now bid ?
Depending on which system you play, the 5NT bid does NOT mean how many more Kings do you have. It means WHICH King do you have.
You've already told your partner about the King of Trumps. Now tell him about the King of Clubs, by bidding Clubs. Remember that the question was all to do with getting to a Grand Slam, so there is a good chance that your positive reply will encourage partner to go to 7 Hearts.
If the question, using the alternative system, had meant "How many more Kings do you have?", then the reply would have been 6 diamonds, to say that you have one more (excluding the King of trumps).
